It took me some time to figure out how to make it happen, but now my first two NFT are listed. I am learning every day and of course as a crypto newbie I had to deal with the basics first. The ways to create an NFT are very different, I have now chosen opensea.io for the beginning, as a starting point it seemed ideal to me, because you do not need an invitation as usual with many other platforms, you can simply start. But first, of course, you need a wallet, preferably Metamask and some Ethereum, because the listing of NFTs on opensea.io does not cost gas (fee), but the initialization of the account does.
However, the disadvantage with opensea.io is that as a newcomer you actually have no chance to sell anything without self-marketing, which is of course easier curated sites like niftygateway.com
